An Amazing Glacier Experience in Iceland It was an amazing trip! Lorenzo drove very smoothly, and the music in the car was great. During the glacier hike, he always paid attention to everyone’s condition and safety. He gave us detailed explanations and took us to many beautiful spots. Thank you, Lorenzo, for taking such good care of us and making this trip a wonderful experience!

Glacier hike plus so much more Had a fantastic day seeing the south coast of Iceland with Lorenzo. Started with the glacier hike which was such an amazing experience. Lorenzo made everyone feel safe and explained the equipment and all about the glacier. Then we went to the black sand beach and ended the day with a waterfall. Highly recommended doing this tour.

Memorable Experience We had a great time! Our tour guide Lorenzo was very friendly and super knowledgeable. He was also very patient with the people on the tour who did not follow instructions very well lol! Totally recommend. We learned a lot about glaciers and the history of the south coast thanks to our great guide.

Highlight of our trip! This tour was the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend. Lorenzo is an incredible guide, very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The glacier hike can be a bit strenuous depending on your level of experience - it’s about an hour hike to the glacier, an hour hiking on the glacier in crampons, and an hour back, with some uphill portions. But Lorenzo made sure everyone was prepared and felt comfortable, and people were able to go at their own speed. I’d definitely recommend wearing all waterproof clothing and if there is any chance of rain, bringing a dry change of clothes. We bought sandwiches at the rest stop in the morning and ate them on the beach, which was lovely. There is also a cafe at the beach if you prefer.

Must-do day tour We had the most beautiful day on this tour. The group was around 12 people, the perfect size. As we’re doing the ring road we got picked up in Selfoss instead of Reykjavik, conveniently near a bakery and big supermarket, and saving 1 hour of driving both ways (it is quite a long drive). We were lucky with the weather and had a stunning hike at Landmannalaugar. Almar, our guide, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He was super clear in his communication, gave plenty of time at each stop and eagerly suggested taking photos for everyone. The trip is not cheap, but nothing in Iceland is and this is well worth the money. You can get to Landmannalaugar with a rental car, but I recommend you save yourself the stress of driving the rough gravel road.
